I have noted some very serious problems with my Owasys
phone.
You don't have the ability to write text messages in mixed
case. All messages come out in *LOWER* case. That is a
serious problem especially when communicating with sighted
people. Sighted people are used to reading messages written
properly. It looks weird to them if I'm sending them a
message in all lower case, and everyone else is sending
messages like you can on a computer, with both cap and small
letters.
When receiving a text message, if the person doesn't break
up the message in to parts, you don't get the whole message.
I find it very frustrating when I am in the middle of
reading a message, deleting it or whatever, and another
message pops up, or the phone just repeats the last prompt.
The phone also needs a *SILENT* mode. The silent mode is
not adequate. The phone vibrates when it rings, but the SMS
alert still sounds. There should be vibrate, silent, and
ring.
Another major drawback is you have to manually set the
clock. Every other phone can synchronize with the cellular
system, and the Owasys should do that too.
