Thanks, Janina, for your thorough answering of my questions.

One more question, if I may:

Will we be informed through this list if and when updates to the firmware
become available? I would hope so.

thank you and all the staff for the wonderful work you are doing to allow us
to use this excellent phone.

Hi, Arianna:

Thanks for your questions, and we're delighted to hear you're finding
your 22C so indispensible! <grin>

We have the cable to connect the 22C to a serial port, though on many of
today's computers you'd also need an adaptor in order to use a USB port
instead of the old fashioned db9 serial port.

We also offer an elegant black leather case for your 22C, and we
strongly recommend you use a case because it helps protect your phone
against damage. Our case is a tad pricy at $49.95, but elegant, as I
said. You can find perfectly good cases for less at the mall, and I
would encourage you to look in stores like L.L. Bean, for instance.

We do not have, and I don't know of a case that would expose our
buttons. We're open to someone designing such a thing, and we've talked
with some of the folks that do cases, but so far we haven't put all
those pieces together.

There is no defined way to add ring tones, and I'm actually
glad of that. Well, yes I know many people want this feature, and I
would like it myself. But, I'm glad because it would require us to meet
certification requirements that would be expensive to add. We're talking
tens of thousands of dollars, and we're talking digital rights
management technology. So, not only would we need to provide a way to add
ring tones, we'd also have to add the technology to insure that you
didn't steal those ring tones from somewhere. At the moment that's just
a level of complication we'd rather avoid, especially as it's costly.
