Hi, Kathy:
It's probably a good idea to store your Phonebook on the SIM card. It
will function as a backup for your data, though your Owasys 22C will
always actually use the Phonebook data in its memory. There are,
unfortunately, built in problems when you restore data to the Phonebook
from your SIM card. The 22C gives you three phone numbers per name, but
the SIM card, when you restore from it, will only give you one phone
number per name. So, on the 22C you'd get the name three times with each
succesive phone number in the "Home Number" field. Messy, but probably
better than losing all that data.
Also, another reason to write data to your SIM card is that you put that
SIM in any other unlocked GSM phone and it magically becomes your
telephone. It's very cool, actually.
As for insurance, I'm sorry there's none available--though we have
tried. I suggest you list it with your home owner or renter insurance
policy, because it can be important to protect yourself.
Hope this helps.
