[22c-user] 22C User List Is Back

[A list for users of the Owasys 22C screenless phone.]

Dear Friends:

As you may have noticed, our 22c-user list was unavailable for the past
few weeks. To add insult to injury this unavailability came quickly on
the heels of a previous stretch of time when the list was unavailable.
In other words, we haven't been here for some time.

We're writing now to tell you that we have every confidence this list is
back for good, fully functional. Of course, we also want to apologize
for any inconvenience our unavailability may have caused. And, we want
to explain briefly what happened.

The story of what happened is basically very simple. We moved. All of
our services: email, email lists, telephone services, web pages, etc.,
are resident on a computer system we rent and manage at a major data
center. We do this in order to obtain the best possible, yet affordable
Internet connectivity possible. In March we moved from one computer
server to another at this data center facility in order to handle more
telephone calls without disruption, more email, more web hits, etc. The
move went very smoothly. It would have been perfect had we not made a
slight mistake which caused this list to be unavailable. We finally
found that errant character--and it was literally one char--so we're
very happy to report that all our services are now back and fully
operational.
