[22c-user] question about phone identifier

Oh, dear. Sorry for misunderstanding.
Yes, unfortunately, you do need to call them, and you may need to
do some kind of workaround for the password they send you in SMS. They
have worked with others to get past this point, however, so I am
confident you will succeed.
If they're not sure we're T-Mobile, just point them at our web site,
screenlessphone.com.
The reason we're not listed, by the way, is that being listed as an
official T-Mobile device would involve tens of thousands of additional
dollars in testing labs. We've got our FCC testing, and frankly can't
afford to spend another $40 or $50 thousand to clear T-Mobile's testing.
